to answer ben_vulpes' question, it's like erowid but with a focus on the cultivation of psychedelic mushrooms. oh also of note: it got unwanted attention (how i leared about it even) when a guy by the handle "ripper" died of an overdose live on webcam while the chat egged him on to do more drugs. and this was back before smart phones so having a webcam was not trivial

shroomery is a crustier take on erowid. if erowid is a 70s post-psychedelic ethnographer and psychonaut attempt at exhaustive substances library, shroomery is where borderline wooks go to share tips on synthesizing dmt using household objects. as the name implies it's primarily about mushroom growing (it's legal to ship spores, but mushroom growing is finicky, so it's a perfect dyi drug project)
