asciilifeform: been testing litmus.sh and i found some weird behavior around this part |
08:03 |
hapax |
obviously the rsa_byteness and rsa_width calculations are correct re the signature, but it seems to choke when validating a vpatch i signed |
08:03 |

(it's from before i realized i left some emacs garbage when running vdiff) |
08:03 |

(try it out with both gpg and litmus.sh) |

spoiler: rsa_bitness = 4088 |
08:04 |
hapax |
now, it's either my gpg acting up or rsa_bitness full octet short is perfectly legal in pgpland (for the record, i can't see why it shouldn't be) |

the tape runs perfectly with bitness selected manually (and gpg itself doesn't choke when run the "orthodox" way) |

an obvious fits-in-head pill would probably be loop until popcnt(++rsa_width) = 1 if it doesn't at first, but i wonder what's your take on it |
