doesn't have a hard requirement on version afaik. whichever introduced pg_notify would probably be the earliest usable. I'm running 10 atm |

trinque: the gen_random_uuid() command was not added I believe until 9.4 because i had to switch that line out for an equivilant on my local machine that runs 9.3.5. Also as mentioned in the guide I had to run the create extension commands as root |

trinque: Does logbot need to have the nick it uses registered with freenode? Is it an easy change to make this not so? For what I'm doing I'm going to need roughly 500 nicks. |
