if what's happening is that you don't want auctions over 1k because you suspect settlement doesn't work over 1k because you suspect most settlement will be wu and wu won't work over 1k, that's fine, make 9xx auctions or w/e for this reason, either weekly or biweekly as convenient. |

if you reserve judiciously, such that you genuinely have the reserve you propose, an auction not closing will still result in your getting the fiat via the mechanism you used to calculate the reserve. gets all the cogs going nicely, and interoperating meaningfully. |
