Qntra-wp forked from Automattic's a bit later than mp-wp did and it uses a newer theme (since depreciated by Automattic) called toolbox |

To make the theme here http://bingology.net/ I followed a similar process to turning toolbox into the Qntra theme. I cut and changed colors until I liked what I saw. |

Looking at the error logs it looks like for many images the css links to image.png.svg, whereas the actual file name at the specified path is image.svg |
