i just dropped the db and did a full restore (took several minutes), bot still connected

i got tired of waiting for the rk to finish populating the text search column so i figured i'd dump the db, run the text search indexer locally to populate the column, then restore on the server

i guess this alone wouldn't cause any issues for the bot, so long as no new lines come in, but also restarted postgres before doing the drop/restore just to flush everything out

looks like syncing after a long absence might take a while, I wonder if there are ways to make it more efficient (I think asciilifeform suggested only sending the getdata request to the sending node instead of everybody?)

I just thought of something, does blatta have a concept of wether messages have been delivered or not? I mean, if I have blatta running, and I am not connected to it, and somebody sends me a message, does it hold onto that until I join later?

here's something interesting I noticed while syncing: sometimes the number of peers I get for a message is higher than the number of peers in my wot? Shouldn't it max out at the number of peers I am connected to?
